We are launching a financial literacy series titled ‘Dollars & $ense.’ Led by Spark Business Academy instructors, these classes are designed to introduce children to basic financial concepts and how to manage money.

My First Lemonade Stand 
In this fun workshop, children will experiment with lemonade recipes, design their own flyers, learn how to count money and make change, and tally their expenses, sales and profits (or loss). For the showcase, children will set up their own stand, sell lemonade, and raise funds for a charity of their choice.

Budding Entrepreneurs • Gr. 2-5
This program empowers students with an entrepreneurial mindset to develop a plan for their very own business ideas, drawing from such disciplines as marketing, finance and strategy, in a supportive environment fostering teamwork. From designing marketing flyers to estimating profits, students have fun while developing a sense for business!
