We are unable to issue refunds or credits for late arrivals, camp absences, enrollment cancellations or programming changes. Thank you for your understanding.

Tuesday, June 7 • Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden
Transportation: Chartered School Bus
Our group will travel to Staten Island’s Snug Harbor to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival, a traditional Chinese holiday falling on the 5th day of the 5th month of the Chinese lunar calendar. In addition to touring the Center’s beautiful Chinese Scholar’s Garden we will also learn about the legend of Qu Yuan and how to create a traditional craft. Fun for all ages!
Thursday, June 9 • Hudson River’s Wetlab 
Do you know there are more than 200 species of fish living in the Hudson River and its tributaries? On Thursday campers walk together to the Hudson River’s Wetlab to meet local researchers and learn first-hand about the ecology of our river and how we can all contribute to the health of its wildlife. After the workshop we will enjoy a picnic lunch and outdoor fun at Pier 25. 
Thursday, June 9 • Chess Tournament (Gr. K-5) • All Levels Accepted
4-round Swiss style tournament where each participant plays 4 games regardless of the result. In between rounds, we will analyze and review games played as a group. The awards ceremony wraps up the tournament around 12:30pm with Trophies and other prizes. 
PLEAE NOTE • Chess players can select Half-Day (9am-1pm) or Full-Day (9am-5pm) registration. The chess tournament takes place in the morning. Afternoon camp features sports, games, arts & crafts, and outdoor recreation, including a walk to a local park if the weather is nice.
