Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
In accordance with the Key to NYC regulation, children ages 5-11 are required to have proof of vaccination for indoor activities provided in Afterschool and Camp programs. Registration is not complete until participants submit a copy of their Covid-19 vaccination card. Thank you.
We offer a variety of specialty classes and workshops every day. During registration families will be asked to choose ONE Specialty Class for each Weekday they select. In addition to their chosen Class, students will have homework, snack time, sports, recreation and outdoor play in the Yard. All activities take place in the PS 3 building. Please download/consult the Schedule below — and see class descriptions under the Enrichment tab above. We also urge families to review the Daily Routine and other relevant afterschool information before enrolling in the program. Thank you.
Semester Tuition covers the whole afternoon (there is no hourly service available).
Weekday Fee is the base unit for tuition charges. For example, when you select Spring Mondays, the Weekday Fee covers all Mondays in the season. If you register for two Weekdays, your total would be $830 ($415 x 2).

**Discounted rates apply to families that meet the federal income guidelines for free lunch. If you qualify, please select one of the Payment Plan options when you register — and email the Afterschool office for further instructions.

The online system accepts Visa and Mastercard. Semester enrollment requires a 50% deposit at registration which is non-refundable and non-transferable. The balance can be paid in one or two payments.
Requests for class changes will be processed by our office provided the request is emailed during the first two weeks of the semester – and there are slots available. There is a $10 processing fee for enrollment adjustments.
The fifty percent deposit paid when you register is non-refundable and non-transferable. Fifty percent of Tuition Fees is refundable provided the cancellation request is emailed during the first two weeks of the semester.
If your preferred Weekday/Class is full, please complete the online Waitlist form [under this tab]. The Afterschool office will contact you if a slot opens up.
Please don’t forget to inform the school teacher that your child is registered for afterschool. PS 3 teachers cannot release children unless they have been notified in advance by the parent/guardian.
For safety reasons, we cannot accept children without pre-registration. Never send your child to the Afterschool Program unless you registered in advance. Thank you.
